SC1: Needles in a Haystack: Proven Digital Media Campaigns for Clinical Trials in Rare Diseases & Oncology - Detailed Agenda

Instructor: Heather Hernandez, Director, Business Development, Seeker Health

Finding participants for clinical studies in rare diseases or oncology can be akin to finding needles in a haystack. Given that patients have transitioned online to seek disease, drug and clinical trial information, those needled haystacks are now online. The average person accesses social media many times per day and biopharmaceutical sponsors can leverage that access to promote clinical trials. This course will provide the participants with an advanced understanding of how to use social and digital technologies to master patient engagement and accelerate drug development for medicines for rare diseases and oncology. The methods apply to other categories of diseases as well.
